Tick-Tock...Time. It flows, it is never enough, and deserves to be acknowledged as the most precious gift. As an ally, time becomes the main protagonist for Majestæt's "Muliebrity" Fall 2024 Collection. Focusing not on a woman's pursuit of time but of her pursuit of the powerful elegance of nowadays. An overpowered woman who whilst striving to keep up with the fast-paced rhytms of the modern lifestyle is in tune with the principles of sharp minimalism and subtle sensuality. A contradicting stance that comes that comes together to create a modern and dynamic wardrobe under the direction of Maria Stavrou, the brand's creative director.
Wool, silk, cotton, lyocell, rayon. Fabrics that primarily show an appreciation for the natural and welcome us to discover a collection designed to hold the title of "powerful elegant". Sturdy, on the one hand, to compose protective sillhouettes, lightweight on the other, to create the effect of fluidity.
A jacket's accentuated shoulders create a dialogue with the cinched waist of an hourglass silhouette, and trousers that flatter the thighs allow flared hems to elevate the freedom of movement. Pencil skirts that play with bold hardware, sheer asymmetric blouses that expose one shoulder, cardigans with elaborate cuffs that celebrate the office look, and corsets designed no to take your breath away but to serve as a reminder that time flows, yet is now in favor ot the woman.
Lines and textures, all perfect symbols of an interplay between reality and hyperrealism. An undone preppy style that brings together strict tailoring with an undeniable sensuality. Exquisite additions to the collection include the hosiery couture character with slip skirts and knee-high stockings - seen from the reverse - as well as knicker-type shorts that bring the underwear look into the equation and placing skin exposure even at the meeting table.
In the chapter "Color", the return to the fundamentals of what is timeless as seen through the superior hourglass silhouette or a powerful suit is translated through a palette that acts as a catalyst for style. Thus, classic colors such as black, gray, white, and iguana green, enter an open dialogue wuth cherry red, cobalt blue and buttercream yellow - sufficiently feminine shades that emphasize the value of the modest hybrid style of the era.
